Mission context

In this digital age, it is very easy to access and acquire IT solutions to exchange information or to collaborate more effectively, whether this means websites, apps or other tools. In a digital business environment which is increasingly open to the outside world, Businesses Lines may be inclined to use tools or IT services that bypass the service offerings and solutions available from the IT entity.
Collectively, investment in the acquisition, development and operation of IT solutions without the involvement of the Bank's IT department is known as Shadow IT. The use of Shadow IT carries risks: loss of information, confidential data falling into hands of unauthorized parties, customer data left unprotected and unclear agreements with suppliers. These may entail real threats to the operations of the Bank and risk causing financial and reputational damage.

Function description

IT project manager to support:
(1) the required group reporting,
(2) PO Risk Mgt in the improvement of the Shadow/Light IT process and
(3) the embedding of the Shadow/Light IT process in the Tribes (a.o. set-up of co-decision committees)

Vereisten

- Education: Master or equivalent by experience

- Certification: PRINCE2 or equivalent

- Required experience / knowledge: At least 3-5 years of relevant experience

- Technical experience:
• mandatory: Overall project management knowledge; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• preferable: Knowledge of IT processes

- Business experience
• mandatory: Banking industry experience,
Familiar with project management & Agile governance, processes and tools
• preferable: Knowledge of the standards in use within banking evironments
Awareness of the specific context and understanding of the respective objectives of the business and Risk Management departments

- Language requirements
• Dutch/French: At least mother tongue Dutch or French and good passive knowledge of the other language
• English: Fluent or good written and oral knowledge
