Project Manager - Fibre to the Home - Anankei

For our customer in the telecom sector, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager.

This “Fibre to the Home BF Project Manager” will reinforce the Fibre to the Home BF Program team where he/she will manage the program’s finances to help the program to achieve its ambitions to deliver Fibre to the Home on budget and on time.

He/she will take the operational lead to manage the day to day financial operations of the program towards external partners and internal stakeholders as well as assuring all the program’s responsibilities within the Customers financial governance.


o Manage financial relationship with external subco’s. This includes validation and tracking of PO creation, participate in all discussions on pricing and financial interactions with those partners, calculate monthly financial invoicing for subco’s,…

o Track financial progress of the program on national level as well as per area by establishing and maintaining financial dashboards, communication with local and national teams to discuss progress, correct if required, …

o Link operational progress to cost. As the projects progress more accurate cost estimates can be made. Register and maintain continuous cost estimations for all the ongoing projects.

o Elaborate the existing financial reporting and assure follow-up of financial information and transparency to all stake-holders.

o Assurance the program’s responsibilities within the Customers Financial governance:
o Maintain accurate financial planning, budgeting and forecasting;
o Follow-up of monthly financial spread
o Request and manage budget releases
o Report actuals and commitments
o Manage and align quarterly reviews (closing, spread, forecast…).
o Assure correct EOY financial closing
o Establish the program’s input to 3- and 10-year plans.

o Set up a forecast in order to inform all stakeholders (suppliers, OLT, internal suppliers XFA via Binocs, ….) assuring the availability of all resources in set time frame.

o Actively participate in other aspects of the program management lead by other members of the team such as planning, operational (progress) follow-up both internally with local teams as well as externally with contractors, process improvement and transversal alignment between divisions… in order to maintain a general overview, assure internal alignment within the program and be able to act as back-up.



o More than 5Y experience in Program/project management is a must. This preferably in a network deployment environment.
o Good analytical insight.
o Very Good knowledge of Office applications in general and Excel in particular. PowerBi and Access are a plus.
o Experience with GIS systems (Graphical Information systems) is a plus.
o Team player with good communication/presentation skills
o Knowledge/interest of (fibre) telecommunication networks is a plus.
o Bilingual Dutch/French with good knowledge of English.

Location: Brussels, but visits to local offices in Belgium may be required.
