Business Analyst - Anankei


What you’ll do:

As part of a project team, contribute to deliver new systems or modifications to existing systems
Understand the needs of the internal and or external clients
Identify, describe and validate business solutions to meet end users requirements
Produce detailed business requirements in a structured form that can be translated into functional and technical specifications
You analyse the impact and the risks of a new service development on the current system
You are able to make the business aware of their own interests and the implications of their decision or request
You pay attention to having the right trade-off between quality, cost and timeliness
Facilitate communication between the business and the IT teams during the project delivery phase
You may provide support to the preparation and execution of the testing phases of projects / maintenance and during the roll-out phase
You are specialist of the business analysis techniques and methodologies. You give advice on an incidental basis
You validate functional designs derived from your own business analysis
Analyse moderately complex business requirements, processes and IT systems


You have :

- experience as Business/functional Analyst (at least 5 years)
- knowledge of the Post Trade business domain
- critical thinking skills
- flexibility to quickly adapt in case of unexpected change of priority
- excellent communication skills (listening, writing and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management level
- strong negotiation and conflict management skills
- organisational skills
- capacity to work autonomously and in close team collaboration
- appetite for understanding the IT world as much as the Business world

You know how to :

- build constructive relationships with all stakeholders (IT, Business stakeholders, Operations,...)
- organize/drive meetings with people from various divisions
- create clear and concise documentation (business requirements specifications and other documentation)
- communicate with technical projects teams
- interpret a problem in its context and systematically look for additional information to solve it
- express well-founded opinions and positions and understand their consequences
- share knowledge and expertise with others

On top of the usual BA profile requirements, we want to stress the following :

The profile for this particular assignment is technically-oriented

- knowledge in application profile management and access and role allocation is a plus
- capable of digging into technical aspects of application is a plus
- knowledge data modelling and API (services) is a plus
- technical understanding of data flows between applications/platforms
- capable of working alone if needed but also a good communicator
- sense of prioritization
- familiar with the Agile methodology and ceremonies (but also of the classical Waterfall methodology to interact with certain teams)
- capable of interacting with technical people
- screen modelling/mock-up/user-friendliness knowledge
- understanding STP/reporting processes and routing of messages based on profiles
